Getting around

The cabin is just off the main Wears Valley Road. No rough and steep mountain roads. Two parking spots are available on the driveway.

Wear Valley social food truck park is a chill place to hang out and get some local taste.

During winter months (Dec to Feb), some roads that lead to Wears Valley may be covered by snow or ice. Make sure your car is capable to drive in icy road conditions.

House Rules

SAFETY & PROPERTY CARE - Appliances: Always ensure the gas range is completely turned off when not in use. Do not leave the gas stove unattended while cooking. - Security: Please ensure all windows and doors are securely locked whenever you leave the cabin. - Plumbing: Only toilet paper should be flushed. Please use the trash bins for all other waste, wipes, or feminine products. - Vehicles: Please do not park vehicles on the grass at any time. - Furniture: If you move any furniture during your stay, please return it to its original position before checking out. CLIMATE, FIREPLACE & OUTDOOR FIREPIT - Thermostat: To protect the HVAC system, do not set the AC or Heat below 65°F or above 80°F. - Indoor Fireplace: This is a gas-only fireplace. DO NOT put firewood into it. Use the provided remote control to turn it on or off. - Outdoor Firepit: Never leave the fire pit unattended. Ensure the fire is completely extinguished and no embers or ashes remain after use. STRICT POLICIES - Smoking & Vaping: This is a strictly smoke-free and vape-free cabin. Absolutely NO smoking or vaping is allowed indoors. - Occupancy: Any guests exceeding the number listed on your itinerary will be charged $100 per person, per night. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without a refund if maximum occupancy is exceeded. - Private Property: Do not trespass on the road between our driveway and the pond. This is a private road belonging strictly to our neighbor. WILDLIFE PROTECTION - Bear Safety: We are in a wildlife area. Avoid leaving any food, trash, or coolers outside or in vehicles to prevent attracting bears and other wild animals. HOT TUB RULES - Temperature: The water temperature may not be hot upon arrival; please adjust it to your preferred level using the control panel. - Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times around the hot tub. Never leave the hot tub unattended while uncovered. - Hygiene & Maintenance: Avoid using soaps, oils, or bubble baths, as they damage the filtration system. Please rinse off before entering (especially if you have been in the creek) to keep debris and grass out. - Securing: Ensure the hot tub cover is properly placed and strapped down after every use. Use of the hot tub is at your own risk.

As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
